It’s Thanksgiving in the United States today and we’re thinking of all our lovely customers across the pond and would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thinking of the United States, it has really made us reflect on our USA adventures and all the things we still have to tick off our bucket list when we next go over to the States.
There are just some things that MUST be done…
- Indulge in the local food – a Philly cheesesteak, New York hotdog, deep dish pizza in Chicago, a Texas BBQ… it makes us so hungry just thinking about it, but the list is endless!
- Take a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and have a champagne picnic as the sun sets over the magnificent canyon.
- Try our luck in one of the mega casinos in Las Vegas – and hopefully win the jackpot!
- Board the ferry to marvel at the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City and visit Ellis Island to immerse ourselves in the history of immigration.
- Soak up the atmosphere at a live baseball game whilst devouring a corndog and sipping on a refreshing beverage.
- Cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge, we’ve heard it’s one of the most exhilarating things to do whilst you’re in San Francisco.
- Hire a classic American convertible and drive across the historic Route 66, stopping off in every state along the way to make the most incredible memories.
- Hit the waves and go surfing in Hawaii or California. We’ll have to take some surf lessons first but where best to learn than in these two surfing hotspots.
- Enjoy listening to live music in the South, be it Jazz in New Orleans, Blues in Memphis, or Country in Nashville.
- Witness some of the best monuments in the world in Washington DC, from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial.
There’s so much more we could mention, but we’d love to hear what you have on your all-American bucket list.
